Welcome to Nutrient Management
The University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus will be facilitating the courses and exams offered by The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) for certificates and/or licences under the Nutrient Management Act, 2002 (NMA).

Getting a Nutrient Management Certificate or Licence
You must take the required course(s), write and pass the corresponding exam, and in some cases, complete a practicum.
There are six different NM certificates and licences:
• Agricultural Operation Strategy or Plan Development Certificate (AOSPDC)
• Agricultural Operation Planning Certificate (AOPC)
• Broker Certificate
• Prescribed Materials Application Business (PMAB) Licence
• Non-Agricultural Source Material (NASM) Plan Development Certificate
• Nutrient Application Technician Licence
