Welcome to Nutrient Management

The University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus will be facilitating the courses and exams offered by The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) for certificates and/or licences under the Nutrient Management Act, 2002 (NMA).


July 22, 2011 - NEW EXAM POLICY

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

  • You must attempt your licence/certification exam within two years of taking the prerequisite courses.  The exam can be scheduled at any time during the two year period
  • A passing grade on all exams is 75% or greater

1. If you do not achieve a passing grade on your first attempt, you are allowed two more attempts during the next two years (from the date of your first attempt).
2 Your second attempt can be scheduled at any time during the two year period.
3. If you do not achieve a passing grade on your second attempt, you must wait at least three months from the date of the second exam before you can write your third attempt.  Your third attempt must fall within two years of the first exam writing.
4. If you do not achieve a passing grade on your third exam attempt, you must wait five (5) years from the date of your first exam before starting the process again (take courses and write exams).
